Type specimen: IVPP V16424, a mandible (left dentary with p4-m3 and alveoli for anterior dentition). Its type locality is Huheboerhe escarpment (IM-1), which is in an Eocene fluvial sandstone in the Irdin Manha Formation of China.

Ecology: arboreal insectivore

Distribution: found only at Huheboerhe escarpment (IM-1)
