Type specimen: CM 64461, a mandible (partial right dentary with P4-M3). Its type locality is Chalk Cliffs South, which is in a Barstovian terrestrial horizon in the Hepburn's Mesa Formation of Montana.

Ecology: fossorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at Chalk Cliffs South
