Type specimen: CM 11898, a mandible (partial right mandible with M1-M3). Its type locality is South Side of Dry Hollow, which is in an Orellan terrestrial horizon in the Dunbar Creek Formation of Montana.
Ecology: fossorial herbivore
Distribution: found only at South Side of Dry Hollow
