Type specimen: UA 2519, a shell. Its type locality is Preuss Creek, sample 1 (835 m), which is in a Spathian shallow subtidal grainstone/siltstone in the Thaynes Formation of Idaho.

• Triassic of United States (38: Idaho, Utah collections)
