Type specimen: SGO PV 2304, a maxilla (maxillary fragment bearing P2-M3). Its type locality is Pampa Castillo, which is in a Burdigalian fluvial sandstone/siltstone in the Galera Formation of Chile.
Ecology: scansorial omnivore
Distribution: found only at Pampa Castillo
