Type specimen: a specimen in the collection of G. Winston Sinclair, a partial shell (living chamber and four attached camerae). Its type locality is Crabtree Mills, which is in a Shermanian/Edenian deep subtidal shelf limestone/shale in the Tetreauville Formation of Canada.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Crabtree Mills
