• "alluvium deposited in an oxbow lake of the ancestral Oldman River"
• the unit consists of "Medium-grained sand, horizontally bedded, alluvial... no soil zones are present" and the invertebrates and pollen are from a "laminated clay from the bottom sand, containing shell fragments and very fine-grained organic matter"
