Where: Queensland, Australia (22.4° S, 149.4° E)
• Paleocoordinates: 58.2° S, 156.9° E (Wright 2013)
• coordinate based on nearby landmark
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Echinalosia preovalis brachiopod zone, Back Creek Group, Kungurian (279.3 - 272.3 Ma)
• Brachiopods suggest the lower Echinalosia provalis zone, correlated with the APP3.1 palynomorph zone (Briggs, 1998). The APP3.1 zone does not have any radiometric constraints, although the top of the overlying APP3.2 is around 271.6 Ma (Laurie et al., 2016), placing it near the Kungurian-Roadian boundary or in the lower Roadian. Phillips et al. (2018) place APP3.1 in the Kungurian, which is consistent with the presence of the ammonoid Neocrimites in APP3.1 of the the Tiverton Formation (although not unequivocal).
