When: Crystal River Limestone Formation (Ocala Group), Late/Upper Eocene (37.2 - 33.9 Ma)
• STRATIGRAPHIC SOUCE: Individual bed (5) within measured section. STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: Proposed for 108 ft of limestone exposed in Crystal River Rock Co., quarry. Includes all calcareous deposits of Late Eocene age, lying stratigraphically between the Williston Fm and the Oligocene limestones. The Crystal River Fm is synonomous with the "Ocala Limestone (restricted definition)". SPECIFIC STRATIGRAPHY: 43.25 ft thick coquina in middle portion of 131 ft section, 2 ft below unconformity and overlying Suwannee Lmst.
