• Late Ordian to early Templetonian: Considered to be Middle Cambrian according to Cooper 2004.

Environment/lithology: open shallow subtidal; lithified limestone

• The carbonate beds crop out as low mounds, benches and pavements, in dolines or as towers; beds marking periods of unrestricted open shelf sedimentation
• distintive 'two tone' lithology, compromising centrimetre-scale interbeds of light gray lime wackstone and darker gray dolomitic siltstone
