When: Itamaraca Formation (Paraiba Group), Campanian (83.6 - 72.1 Ma)
• Originally given as Gramame, which underlies Maria Farinha Formation and overlies Itamaraca Formation. However, de Souza (2006) notes that this was misidentified, and that it actually is the Itamaraca. The Itamaraca sometimes intefingers with but usually locally overlies the terrestrial Beberibe. All belong to the Paraiba Group.
