•Charrier and Croft 2015: En este sector destaca la presencia de un notoungulado leontiniido, Colpodon antucoensis, recolectado en el estero Correntoso, y descrito por Shockey et al. (2012). Este ejemplar se encuentra en uno de los niveles fosilíferos de la parte inferior de la Formación Cura-Mallín (Figura 13), entre niveles datados en 19,53±0,60 Ma y 19,25±1,22 Ma, lo cual lo ubica en el Colhuehuapense.
